At Dixon Resources Unlimited, we pride ourselves on being an agile, remote-based company, but every summer, we make it a point to close our laptops, get off the grid, and come together in person. This year, our team traveled from across the country to Austin, Texas, for our DIXON Summer Retreat.

Between team meals, pool time, and a float down the San Marcos River, we were able to brainstorm, align on business development goals, and think about the bigger picture of where DIXON is headed next. From team-prepared meals and presentations (shoutout to our meal captains for keeping everyone fed and happy!) to relaxing by the pool at our home base for the weekend, the retreat was packed with moments that brought the team closer together. The river float was definitely the highlight of the trip, equal parts adventure and team bonding.

As DIXON continues to grow, traditions like the Summer Retreat remind us why we do what we do: for our people and the relationships that drive our work forward.
