On Tuesday, April 7th, the DIXON team attended the CMPA Regional Meeting hosted at UC Riverside, which featured guest speakers, a tour of UC Riverside's residential and commuter parking structures, and the opportunity to network with fellow parking professionals.

Graham Rossmore opened with a presentation on curbside dining in the City of Los Angeles, sparking discussion around its management and the costs associated with converting on-street parking. Dulce Gomez then led a municipal roundtable on RFPs and contracts, allowing agencies and vendors to exchange lessons learned and share practical strategies. The session concluded with Captain Nick Nicholas, who presented tools and techniques for frontline safety and situational awareness, prompting conversation around how to best support frontline staff and address safety concerns.

Our team left the CMPA Regional Meeting motivated and inspired, grateful for the chance to connect with such a thoughtful and dedicated community of parking professionals.
