This October, the DIXON Resources Unlimited team is headed to Spokane, WA for the 2026 Pacific Intermountain Parking & Transportation Association (PIPTA) Conference & Expo, October 20–22. We’re excited to help kick off the conference with its first session and wrap things up with the final session!
Global Parking Enforcement Technologies
Opening the conference, Cameron Clark of DIXON and Trent Donat, City Clerk & Business Manager for the City of Ketchum, will present “Global Parking Enforcement Technologies” on behalf of the IPMI Technology Committee. As members of the committee, Cameron and Trent will explore parking enforcement technologies and approaches being used around the world and how new tools and ideas are shaping parking enforcement.
You’re on the Council: Navigating Today’s Toughest Parking Decisions
Closing out the conference, Julie Dixon, Cameron Clark, and Blake Thomas will facilitate “You’re on the Council: Navigating Today’s Toughest Parking Decisions,” an interactive session that puts attendees directly into the room where parking policy gets made. Attendees will take on the roles of business owners, city staff, residents, and transportation advocates as they work through real-world parking challenges. Each round ends with a look at how real communities faced the same decision and what actually happened. Stick around until the end. This one is going to be fun! Come ready to take a side, make your case, and see if the council agrees.
