On Wednesday, August 27, Principal Planner Ben Verdugo presented to the Encinitas City Council about updates to their Residential Parking Permit Program.

Next steps include the formation of a working group to bring forward policies and municipal code updates to future-proof the program. The new regulations will likely take effect in early 2026.
