Last week, DIXON coordinated the Southern California Parking Resource Forum, bringing together municipalities, parking vendors, and transportation professionals from across Southern California to discuss current and emerging parking issues.
Attendees shared insights and asked questions on topics including residential permit parking (RPP) management, virtual permits, scofflaw violations, daylighting, enforcement best practices, open payment systems, beach parking considerations, and open payment systems.
Participants also had the opportunity to network and collaborate over a Chipotle lunch generously sponsored by SpotHero. The forum created a valuable space for professionals to exchange ideas and work together to address parking challenges.
Thank you to everyone who attended, and to SpotHero for sponsoring lunch. We look forward to continuing the conversation at our next forum on July 23, 2026 in Newport Beach.
