Last week, the DIXON team was on site in Isla Vista to support the implementation efforts for Isla Vista's new parking compliance program. We kicked off the visit with a meeting alongside Isla Vista Community Services District (IVCSD), the County of Santa Barbara, and Isla Vista Foot Patrol staff, then conducted a walk-through of high-impact areas throughout the community.

A highlight of the visit was spending time with IVCSD's new Parking Ambassadors, sharing insight and guidance on running an effective parking compliance program that prioritizes safety, accessibility, and equity on Isla Vista's streets.

We look forward to returning soon to monitor the program's progress and advance broader parking management efforts alongside the IVCSD team and the County of Santa Barbara. Go Gauchos!
