On-Site with DIXON: Supporting PARK MAUI at the 99th Maui County Fair

DIXON was on site in Wailuku for all four days of the 99th Maui County Fair, held October 1–4, 2026, at the War Memorial Special Events Complex. Working alongside the County of Maui Department of Transportation (DOT) at its booth, our team shared information about the PARK MAUI program with residents and visitors.

Throughout the fair, the team answered questions about how PARK MAUI works, explained resident benefits, and helped fairgoers download the PARK MAUI mobile app and set up their accounts on the spot. Visitors also took home PARK MAUI swag, and many stopped to play games for a chance to win a PARK MAUI beach towel. For many kamaʻāina, it was a chance to get registered before their next trip to Kamaʻole I and III in Kīhei, where residents park free all day, or the Wailuku Garage, where residents receive two hours free parking each day.

Maui County Fair

The fair is one of the island's biggest community gatherings. Last year's revival drew more than 115,000 attendees, and the 2026 edition again brought together local food, nonprofit booths, exhibits, and live entertainment. That made the DOT booth an ideal place to reach a broad cross-section of the Maui community.

The fair builds on DIXON's ongoing engagement in Maui, including tabling at Kīhei Fourth Friday and the Kamaʻole Beach Parks following the PARK MAUI launch in July.

Mahalo to Maui DOT for the partnership, and to everyone who stopped by the booth to say aloha!
