The DIXON team visited El Cerrito last weekend to participate in Tri-City Safety Day as part of the City's parkEC project. We shared parking management ideas for the El Cerrito Plaza area, answered questions, and heard directly from the community. We spoke with dozens of residents over the day and had some very productive, detailed conversations with neighbors who live near the Plaza. They told us a lot about how parking works on their blocks now and how the proposed changes could affect them.

This outreach is a key part of Phase 1 of stakeholder engagement, where we're gathering feedback on our initial parking management ideas. What we heard will shape how we refine those ideas into a detailed Parking Management Action Plan, which we plan to release for public feedback early next year.
