At last week’s Oakdale City Council meeting, Senior Associate Elliott Holt introduced an ordinance amendment as part of the Downtown Parking Management Plan. This marks the culmination of a nearly year-long project involving extensive community engagement and a detailed parking utilization study.
The updated parking ordinance introduces modernized language aimed at providing greater flexibility in responding to shifts in downtown parking demand. By streamlining regulations and adopting a more adaptive approach, the new ordinance is designed to support future growth and evolving community needs downtown.
