
We're proud to share that several members of our team are actively contributing their expertise to industry organizations through volunteer leadership roles in 2025. In this three-part series, we’ll be highlighting DIXON team members who are shaping the future of parking, transportation, and mobility across critical areas, including certification, technology education, sustainability, and industry recognition.
This first part highlights Julie Dixon and Vanessa Solesbee, PTMP, CCTM, who serve in governance and policy leadership roles that set the strategic direction for the industry at both national and regional levels.
Julie Dixon serves on the IPMI Board of Directors, bringing her extensive industry expertise to the organization's governance and strategic direction. Her IPMI volunteer service includes a prior role on the Technology Committee (2022-24) and current co-chair of the Planning, Design and Construction Committee, where she contributes to shaping educational programming and advancing industry innovation. She brings additional experience from serving as the President and Immediate Past President of the Southwest Parking and Transportation Association (SWPTA) from 2017-25.
Vanessa Solesbee, PTMP, CCTM serves as Chair Elect of IPMI's Certification Board while also contributing to the Legislative & Policy Cohort. In these roles, she provides strategic guidance on policies and regulations impacting the parking, transportation, and mobility industry. This marks Vanessa's second decade of volunteer service with IPMI, demonstrating her long-standing commitment to advancing professional standards and advocating for the industry.
