On June 2, 2026, the DIXON team returned to the San Juan Capistrano City Council to present the final recommendations of the Downtown Parking Management Plan. Julie Dixon walked Council members through a recap of the study process, data collection findings, and community outreach results, while fielding questions from Council and community members at the dais. Council unanimously passed the motion to move forward with developing a detailed implementation plan for the near-term recommendations, with plans to return to Council later this summer.

DIXON is proud to have supported the City through this process and looks forward to continuing that partnership as San Juan Capistrano works toward a more accessible, manageable, and sustainable downtown parking program.
