DIXON recently completed three days of annual summer parking data collection for the Town of Windsor, including collection during a Thursday evening concert and Friday movie night.

Using a combination of mobile License Plate Recognition (LPR) and drone imagery, we captured parking occupancy, turnover, length of stay, repeat parking, and other activity patterns across the study area. Privacy is always a priority, and all license plate data collected through LPR was anonymized. No personal information was used in the analysis.

Colorado summer weather likes to keep everyone on their toes. A brief storm rolled through on Thursday, but our team was still able to complete consistent collection passes and gather the data needed. The weather cleared in time for the concert, and the show went on.

The results will support Windsor’s ongoing parking management efforts and help the Town continue making informed, data-driven decisions.
