The DIXON team was proud to take part in the 2025 Pacific Intermountain Parking and Transportation Association (PIPTA) Conference in Eugene, Oregon celebrating 20 years of collaboration, innovation, and connection within the parking and mobility industry.
Julie Dixon's dynamic session highlighted the power of wayfinding and public art to shape memorable, accessible downtown experiences. Drawing on lessons learned from industry legend Todd Pierce, Julie shared how creative placemaking and thoughtful design continue to transform communities across the country.
Cameron Clark, Peter MacDonald, and Cameron Callicutt took the stage for a crowd-favorite Parking Olympics session connecting the principles of Track & Field to parking and mobility operations. Through themes of timing, form, and teamwork, the team illustrated how data-driven strategies can enhance performance and collaboration both on and off the curb.
The session also marked Cameron Callicutt’s conference presentation debut, complete with a live drone demonstration that amazed the audience. As a licensed FAA drone pilot, Cameron showcased how drone technology is being integrated into DIXON’s data collection and field analysis efforts, offering new ways to visualize and optimize parking data.
The energy, creativity, and engagement throughout the event reflected the strength of the parking and mobility community and DIXON’s ongoing commitment to innovation.
DIXON extends sincere appreciation to PIPTA for hosting such a well-curated and inspiring conference, and to all the attendees who made the sessions interactive, insightful, and fun.
